After the events of the season one finale, Roman is now a full upir. He possesses supernatural strength and speed, unnaturally accelerated healing, and presumably can use the thrall without negative effects. ("Presumably" because he actively rejects his upir powers, but I'll get to that.) He can also detach his jaw to open his mouth wider, all the better for biting through people's necks, which is pretty horrifying.

Now a full upir, Roman's blood lust is uncontrollable. He doesn't want to hurt anyone but despite using every ounce of his willpower to fight the urges, everyone around him is a potential meal and he's starving all the time. However! At this canon point he is very weak, between intentionally starving himself and undergoing experimental gene therapy in an attempt to become human. He'll have to feed somehow to regain his strength.

Roman and Peter still share prophetic dreams; they have intensified and now also occur as waking visions, which are disorienting and appear painful.
